How To View Any Mobile Sites in Firefox Browser

For some instance, you may need to browser / test mobile portals in web browsers.
If you try accessing mobile portals in firefox by default it won't allows you.
Follow the below trick to access your mobile portals (eg. https://www.irctc.co.in/mobile)

Why Mobile Site?

  • Save loading time.
  • Reduce downloading background data.(If you are using limited data plan.)
  • No Ads / Pop Up
  • Informations always clearly defined

Configuring Firefox For Mobile View

Firefox is probably the best browser out there for viewing mobile Web site & for testing. To make Firefox imitate a mobile device you need:

Step 1 : 
Install Latest Firefox web browser: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Step 2 : 
As said above the default firefox does not suppor the mobile view sites. To enable this you need to download the following addons


Step 3 :

After installing the above two addons restart firefox browser. 

To View mobile sites select : Tools menu > Default User Agent > iphone 3.0.
To Switch back original view :  Tools menu > Default User Agent >  Default User Agent





Thats all you've done :).
