NOKIA 5800 - Fuzzy Display Problem Resolved

Hi Friends,

I'm using the nokia for almost last 2 years. The performance is satisfactory. But recently i faced a fuzzy display problem while unlocking & attending the calls. Tried so many options to resolve this issue by exploring the suggestions in blogs & forums.

Hard/Soft Reseting the phone.
Updating the latest firmware.
Replacing the memory card.
Applied White background & theme.
Clock screen saver..
But nothing was worked out :(

In GSM forum there is an post recommending a solution!? By replacing the magnetic bar in the hardware. But i'm not interested handover my phone again to Nokia service center. (i believe most of people have great exp with Nokia service & time of delivery. It really sucks!)

After some ample time of experiment. I found a way to resolve this issue. I've tested so many times & still there there is no fuzzy screen issue. So, I thought of sharing the trick with you folks.

Simple Phone Setting will rid this issue :
  • Go to Settings > Phone Settings > Notification light
  • Select the breathing light > ON
  • Notification light > Blink Light > (Set this blink light as) NO LIMIT
  • Disable all your auto lock applications (Eg: Pocket Lock)
  • Always use your manual slide unlock button for lock/unlock the phone.
Thats all you have done !
Its working fine for me. Pls try your self and post your experience. All the best :)

  2. Hi,

I have been using Nokia 5800 mobile since 2 years. Initially I used firmware 30 & 50 versions. when I faced display problem then I upgraded to version 51 firmware. I found that my mobile used to work smoothly without any display problem. After that for some of features requirement again I have upgraded to version 52 firmware.

Now I am again facing the display problem in my mobile. I believe that Nokia 5800 mobile works smoothly with version 52 firmware without any display problem.

And I am looking for New firmware version from Nokia to fix the display problem

  6. Didn't help guys, I have tried almost everything out there (except getting the hardware repaired/replaced) and nothing works. My observation is that the screen is filled with stripes when it is cold; some heat, and it works again. I have NO idea what sort of a problem could cause this. I'm on the verge of throwing this phone away any buying a new one, certainly not Nokia this time.

  7. I think you have to insert a small
magnet inside your phone it works, its
only that the light sensor will not work
and you will not be able to answer calls
using touchscreen unless you use your
slide lock. Later i manage to finnd a new Chinesse screen and the phone is
    working with no problem,only that
picture quality is poor. Next convers

Enable Personal Hotspot / Internet Tethering in Jailbreak IPhone 4 (Revealed)

Hi Folks, Today i would like to explain how to enable hotspot in your IPhone 4 (OS version can be anything above 4.0) What is Internet tethering/personal hotspot ? Using your iphone you can share your mobile network data plan/3g with your laptop using Wi-Fi / Bluetooth / USB data cable. Eg., Simply connect your mobile in to your laptop and access mobile internet. IPhone Passbook App - iOS 6

If you’ve been using iOS 6 beta, they you’re probably pretty familiar with the default Passbook screen that prompts you to open the App Store. Prior to iOS 6′s release just a few hours ago, the App Store page wouldn’t load, or at the very most remained blank.   Screenshots from IPhone... Today, all of that changes. If you open the App Store link from the Passbook app, you’ll be presented with a introductory list of apps that currently support the fledgeling venture. The list of the currently supported apps are as follows: Fandango Live Nation Lufthansa MLB.com At Bat Sephora to Go Ticketmaster Walgreens Since the possibility of me using most of those services is low, I decided to take the safe route, and download and install the Walgreens app. I mean, c’mon, there’s a Walgreens on every corner, isn’t there? Upon initially loading the app, I was presented with a pop up outlining the new Passbook integration. It looks like Apple has indeed worked closely with the developer...
